Operation Christmas Child is an evangelistic ministry for children of Samaritan’s Purse. Churches from the US and other countries are helping churches in 150 countries share Christ’s gospel message through filling shoeboxes with hygiene supplies, “wow” toys, and school supplies. These boxes are transported to drop-off churches, then to central-drop off churches, and then processed in processing centers (Fullerton, CA). The Greatest Gift, Jesus’ salvation story, is included in each box at the distributions to fulfill the Great Commission. The Greatest Journey is the 12 week discipleship program children can participate in to reinforce the gospel message and God’s love for them with Bible Stories. Children graduate from the program with certificates and their own Bible. This year, Samaritan’s Purse is reaching the people groups of the nations.
