Rev. Kathryn McClelland, Elder - Missions & Church Life
After retiring from a successful career as a VP in the tech industry, Rev. McClelland became ordained and now spends her time in service to the spiritual and physical well-being of her community, both at home and abroad. While serving as an Associate Pastor, she was called as a missionary to the Philippines, to teach young church leaders in Mindanao, and in Senegal, for evangelism to a local women’s prison and village ministries. She serves in The Grateful Garment Project, a non-profit organization for victims of sexual violence, where she raises awareness and support by sharing their mission with community groups. Rev. McClelland holds baccalaureate and graduate degrees from San Jose State University in Political Science and International Relations and a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. Katie and her husband Dick have lived in San Jose for over 40 years and have twin adult daughters and two grandchildren.
